Scoring Baseball

Paul Dickson begins his great book, The Joy of Keeping Score with, "The world is divided into two kinds of baseball fans: those who keep score at the ballgame... and those who have never made the leap." No book does a better job at the topic and is highly recommended for those wanting more information than these pages provide.

These pages are a step-by-step walk through that will teach you how to score a game. Begin with the basics, move into the diagrams and see the examples at the end to get an overall picture on scoring your own games. Then, pick up a scorecard and try it yourself. I assure you, once you learn how to score a game you will not stop.
