On May 2, 1980, Ferguson "Fergie" Jenkins of the Texas Rangers became the fourth pitcher in Major League history to win one-hundred or more games in both the American and National leagues.
Jenkins won the historic game 3-to-2 versus the Baltimore Orioles at Arlington Stadium to join Jim Bunning, Gaylord Perry, and Cy Young in this pitching milestone.
