New York Yankees Managers & Finishes | (1) = Interim Manager

The New York Yankees had several hall of famers manager their club - their names appear bold faced. From that set, Torre , Stengel , McCarthy, Huggins , and Griffith were all enshrined in Cooperstown as Hall of Fame managers !
By completion of the 2004 season, which saw Joe Torre at the helm for his ninth season, the New York Yankees had set a new team record for attendance - thanks to 3,775,292 loyal fans who attended home games at Yankee Stadium . When Joe Girardi took over the helm in 2008, a new (still unbroken) attendance record was set courtesy of 4,298,655 Yankee Stadium fans.
Did you know that the New York Yankees were once called the New York Highlanders ( click here for their managers only ) from 1903 through 1913?
