Jake Cave made a little history on May 19, 2018, becoming the eleventh Minnesota Twins player to hit a home run in his Major League debut. The two-run shot off Milwaukee Brewers rookie Freddy Peralta , in the fourth inning, occurred during his second at-bat. The first-pitch fastball left Cave's bat at 111.4 mph and traveled 393 feet to right field.
