MLB Attendance

Major League Baseball Attendance Data

Baseball attendance is a fascinating field of research. Oddly enough, it is as interesting when looking at worsts in baseball history, as it is looking at the best in baseball history!

The Dodgers have had one million in attendance every season since 1945. The 1993 Rockies were the first club seen by seven million fans (home & road totals). The 1992 Blue Jays reached the one million in attendance mark in only 21 games.

Baseball Almanac is pleased to present this historical analysis of baseball attendance marks set by each franchise, All-Star attendance, World Series attendance, team specific attendance records and more.

"When the great scorer comes to mark against your name, it's not whether you won or lost but how many paid to see the game." - Former General Manager Peter Bavasi in The Cultural Encyclopedia of Baseball (Jonathan Fraser Light, McFarland Publishers, 07-2005, 'Attendance', Page 50)
