Andrew James Anderson is an active Major League Baseball player who pitches for the Philadelphia Phillies (2017-today). Drew, his nickname, made his debut in relief on August 1, 2017 , and his first career strikeout was Mike Trout .

Did you know that when Drew Anderson took the mound for his first appearance in 2019, on April 15, he threw one pitch to Michael Conforto , who flied out to center field. Drew then threw one pitch to Wilson Ramos , who hit a bouncing grounder to Jean Segura , who made a great diving catch and threw out the runner at first. Drew then threw one pitch to Jeff McNeil which was also cleanly fielded by Segura , for the final out, a rare 3-Pitch Inning !
