"I tried not to show too much emotion (during his first Major League start), but inside I was going pretty crazy. I was just pitching like I always do, just going out there trying to black out the crowd noise and the whole environment of Dodger Stadium. I felt awesome. I felt like I was having fun." - Mike Fiers (MLB.com, 05/30/2012, 'Fiers leads Crew to victory in first MLB start', Source )

Did you know that Mike Fiers threw an immaculate inning on May 7, 2015, striking out Enrique Hernandez , Carlos Frias , Joc Pederson in the fourth inning with exactly nine pitches, all nine of which went for strikes? Fiers was the fourth Milwaukee Brewers ' pitcher in team history to join the club, joining Doug Jones , Ben Sheets and Rick Helling .

On August 21, 2015 , Mike Fiers no-hit the Los Angeles Dodgers . It was Fiers third start for the Houston Astros , the eleventh no-hitter in franchise history, the first no-hitter thrown in Minute Maid Park , and his first career complete game.
