Richard Jose Hidalgo was a Major League Baseball player for the Houston Astros New York Mets (2004), and Texas Rangers (2005). During his 2000 season, Hidalgo broke out and set career marks for average (.314), home runs (44) RBIs (122), and collected an extra-base hit in ten consecutive games, an Astros ' franchise record.
