Jonathan Lucroy Stats

Jonathan Lucroy was born on Friday, June 13, 1986, in Eustis, Florida. Lucroy was 24 years old when he broke into the big leagues on May 21, 2010, with the Milwaukee Brewers. His biographical data, year-by-year hitting stats, fielding stats, pitching stats (where applicable), career totals, uniform numbers, salary data and miscellaneous items-of-interest are presented by Baseball Almanac on this comprehensive Jonathan Lucroy baseball stats page.

"There might be a more underrated player in the Major Leagues than Jonathan Lucroy. Then again, maybe not. The Brewers' 27-year-old catcher gives Ron Roenicke a rare luxury few managers have: consistently productive offense along with quality work behind the plate. Yadier Molina , Buster Posey and Russell Martin set a high standard in the National League, and Lucroy is in that class without much national recognition." - Lyle Spencer (MLB.com, 03/24/2014, 'Underrated Lucroy is a key player for Brewers', Source )

On May 20, 2012 , Jonathan Lucroy drove in seven runs (RBI), tying the Milwaukee Brewers team-specific record for RBI in a game, set originally by Ted Kubiak ( July 18, 1970 ), then tied previously by Jose Hernandez ( April 12, 2001 ), Richie Sexson ( April 18, 2002 ), Damian Miller ( July 2, 2007 ) and Corey Hart (May 23, 2011).

On August 30, 2012 , Jonathan Lucroy drove in seven runs again , the first (and through today the only) Brew Crew player with more than one 7-RBI game, and Lucroy had both record tying games during the same season.

Did you know that when Jonathan Lucroy hit a league-leading fifty-three doubles in 2014, he became the first catcher (primary position) since 1900 to lead his league in doubles? Too easy? Did you know that forty-six of the fifty-three doubles were hit when Lucroy was catching, breaking the Major League record for doubles in a season by a catcher, set by Ivan Rodriguez , who had forty six doubles in 1996?
