On August 29, 2018 , Tyler White hit a walk-off home run off Jeurys Familia , the first-career walk-off for White, the second designated hitter in Astros ' history with a walk-off homer. Do you know who was first? [ Answer ] In 2004, there were 80 walk-off homers during there regular season, the most in Major League Baseball history. White's walk-off, was the 81st walk-off in 2018, setting a new single-season record!

On October 6, 2018 , during Game 2 of the American League Division Series, Tyler White drew two intentional walks, becoming the fourth player in Astros ' history with multiple intentional walks during a playoff game. Those who came before him: Jose Altuve ( October 6, 2017 ), Mike Lamb ( October 8, 2005 ) and Jose Cruz ( October 10, 1980 ).

On June 23, 2019, Tyler White hit his first career grand slam, and during the post game press conference he said, "I thought I put a good swing on the ball last night to end the game, but it didn't work out for me. It was definitely a confidence booster to have one work out for me. It was good to hit a grand slam." Tyler's slam was the seventh by an Astros hitter in 2019, tying the team record for grand slams in a season.
