Baseball Almanac Top Quote

"You walk around the locker room and see all of the (retired) jerseys hanging up and it's kind of amazing that it's never happened (a Pirate winning the Rookie of the Year). For a guy like me to come pretty much out of nowhere and do what I did means the world to me on a personal level. It's also unbelievable to share it with so many people because it is the first time and there are a lot more people who can enjoy this other than myself. I am extremely honored." - Jason Bay in Rookie of the Year Press Conference (11/09/2004)
