Did you know that in May 2004, Calhoun Falls High School inducted Neil Chrisley into their hall of fame? Calhoun Falls Charter School named their baseball field after him and Chrisley played baseball on the same exact field when he attended the school.

On May 7, 1960 , Bill Monbouquette pitched a one-hitter against the Detroit Tigers - Neil Chrisley had the only hit in the game, a double to left field in the top of the first inning.
