Joshua Wayne Edgin was a Major League Baseball player who pitched for the New York Mets (2012-2014, 2016-2017). When Josh, his nickname, made his debut on July 13, 2012 , he became the first Mets player to wear #66 during a regular season game!

Did you know that Josh Edgin started the 2014 season on fire, retiring the first 23 batters he faced, a New York Mets record to start a season? Josh finished the year with a career high 47 games pitched, allowing only 4 earned runs, with an amazing 1.32 ERA. However, the following season, Josh missed the entire year after undergoing Tommy John Surgery on March 17, 2015.
