Did you know that Ron Fairly is the only player to represent both Canadian Major League Baseball teams in an All-Star Game ? The 21-year veteran made two appearances, the first during the 1973 All-Star Game , as a member of the Montreal Expos , and the second during the 1977 All-Star Game , as a member of the Toronto Blue Jays - the only player in baseball history to appear in All-Star Games for both Canadian franchises!

Ron Fairly hit at least one home run every single season he played Major League Baseball - 21 consecutive years. The only players in baseball history with more consecutive seasons are Al Kaline (22 years) Willie McCovey (22 years), Tony Perez (22 years), Brooks Robinson (22 years), Hank Aaron (23 years), Carlton Fisk (23 years), Rusty Staub (23 years), Carl Yastrzemski (23 years), Ty Cobb (24 years) and Rickey Henderson (25 years).

In 1973, Ron Fairly set an unbreakable team-specific record. Fairly hit three extra-inning home runs that year (10th inning on May 14th , 11th inning on June 5th , and the 10th inning on August 20th ), the most in a single season by a Montreal Expos player. The mark was tied by Jose Vidro in 2002 (10th inning on May 25th , 10th inning on July 26th , and the 14th inning on September 17th ), but no player in an Expos uniform will be able to beat the mark since the franchise relocated to Washington ( Nationals ) in 2005.
