Hunter appeared in relief of Brian Matusz , taking the mound in the ninth inning, then threw 1-pitch to Cole Figueroa , who hit a fly ball out to right field for the first out, threw 1-pitch to Ben Zobrist , who hit a slow-roller back towards the mound for a groundout, then he threw 1-pitch to Matt Joyce , who also hit a routine grounder, this one to the shortstop who had a routine throw to first for the third and final out.
