"I'm excited (about 2014) Last year was a crazy year and it wasn't a year I wanted to have. I'm going to go out and play the way I know I can play. I haven't lost any confidence -- I never lost any confidence last year. It was a tough season but at the end of the day, I came in the clubhouse, the same person, day in and day out. I'm ready to go out and show what I can do." - Edwin Jackson on MLB.com (Tyler Emerick, 03/29/2014, 'Jackson dominates D-backs in final tuneup', Source )

Edwin Jackson is an active Major League Baseball player who has pitched for the Los Angeles Dodgers (2003-2005), Tampa Bay Devil Rays (2006-2007), Tampa Bay Devil Rays (2008), Detroit Tigers (2009), Arizona Diamondbacks (2010), Chicago White Sox (2010-2011), St. Louis Cardinals (2011), Washington Nationals (2012), Chicago Cubs (2013-2015), Atlanta Braves (2015), Miami Marlins (2016), San Diego Padres (2016), Baltimore Orioles (2017), Oakland Athletics (2018) and Toronto Blue Jays (2019).

Did you know that Edwin Jackson was the first German-born pitcher to throw a no-hitter in Major League history? Jackson's dad, retired United States Army Sergeant First Class Edwin Jackson, Sr., was stationed in Germany when Edwin (Jr.) was born in 1983. On June 25, 2010 , Jackson no-hit his former team, the Tampa Bay Rays no-hitter in Arizona Diamondbacks ' history ( Randy Johnson had the first for the franchise, a perfect game on May 18, 2004 ).

Did you know that Edwin Jackson was only the fourth Major League player to take the field with at least twelve different Major League teams ? When E. Jax took the field in 2017, with the Baltimore Orioles , his twelfth team, he tied Deacon McGuire , Mike Morgan , and Matt Stairs , one shy of the Major League record (13) - a mark that Jackson tied in 2018 ! Do you know who once held that unique mark? [ Answer ]

Why did we write "once held" above? Because Scoops took the field with a record setting fourteenth baseball team in 2019, setting a new Major League record for Most Teams Played for in a Career !
