Maxwell Steven Muncy is a active Major League Baseball player with the Los Angeles Dodgers (2017-Today) who played previously with the Oakland Athletics (2015-2016). Max, his nickname, spent the 2017 season with Triple-A Oklahoma City, was a non-roster invitee in 2018, and ended the year leading the Dodgers in both slugging percentage (.582) and home runs (35)! His OPS (.973) was second, behind the NL MVP -- Christian Yelich !

Max Muncy ended the longest World Series game in history, in both time (seven hours twenty minutes) and innings (eighteen), when he hit a walk-off home run in the 18th inning off of Boston Red Sox pitcher Nathan Eovaldi to end Game 3 !
