Did you know that Robb Nen holds two all-time / franchise records? When Nen was traded by the Marlins , he had 108 career saves in Florida , most in team history (#2. Antonio Alfonseca , 102 saves, MLB.com ). Five seasons later he hung up his playing cleats, but not before he had 206 career saves with the San Francisco Giants , most in team history (#2. Rod Beck , 199 saves, MLB.com ).

Did you know that when Robb Nen saved his 300th career game on August 6, 2002 , he became only the third pitcher in National League (NL) history with 300 saves, joining Bruce Sutter (300 saves) and Lee Smith (347 saves in the NL / 131 saves in the American League)?

Did you know that when Nen was shagging flies during batting practice the next night, the San Francisco Giants honored Robb by surrounding his locker with 300 bottles of beer, 300 golf balls, a $300 gift certificate to his favorite Japanese restaurant, and a $300 gift certificate to his favorite music store?
