Did you know that when Andy Pettitte won the Warren Spahn Award - given to the best left-handed pitcher in Major League Baseball - in 2003, he was the first American League pitcher to ever receive the honor?

Andy Pettitte joined the 20 wins club twice (21-8 in 1996 & 21-8 in 2003), was part of seven American League pennant-winning teams, one National League pennant-winning team, and won five World Series rings. He is the record holder for most wins (19) in postseason history, never had a losing year (18, the most of any pitcher in American League history with 250 or more wins) in the Major Leagues, and ranks first in strikeouts (2,020), tied for first in games started (438), and is third in games won (219) in New York Yankees history.
