Sonny Siebert Stats

Sonny Siebert was born on Thursday, January 14, 1937, in St. Mary, Missouri. Siebert was 27 years old when he broke into the big leagues on April 26, 1964, with the Cleveland Indians. His biographical data, year-by-year hitting stats, fielding stats, pitching stats (where applicable), career totals, uniform numbers, salary data and miscellaneous items-of-interest are presented by Baseball Almanac on this comprehensive Sonny Siebert baseball stats page.

"Sonny Siebert was a hard-hitting first baseman-outfielder when he began in professional baseball in 1958. He didn't become a pitcher until he threatened to quit the Indians unless they let him take the mound. They finally did, in 1960, and Siebert became one of the best pitchers in baseball in a 12-year major league career that began in 1964." - Author Russell Schneider in The Cleveland Indians Encyclopedia (Sports Publishing LLC, 01/13/2005, Page 240)
