Joseph Daniel Votto is a Major League Baseball player for the Cincinnati Reds (2007-2018) who made his debut in 2007, played his first full season in 2008, and has NOT stopped setting records since he stepped on the field:

In 2008 , Votto led all National League rookies in batting average (.297), hits (156), home runs (24), total bases (266), multi-hit games (42), on-base percentage (.368) and slugging percentage (.506). When compared to his teammates, Votto led the Reds in games played (151), batting average, hits, total bases, doubles (32) and RBI (84). In respect to fielding, Votto established a Reds record for first basemen with 136 assists, breaking the mark held previously by Frank McCormick , who had 135 assists in 1944 . Votto hit 24 homer runs, 23 as a first baseman, also a new franchise record for home runs by a rookie at that position, breaking the mark held previously by Ted Kluszewski , who hit 12 home runs at first in 1948 .
