Baseball Almanac Top Quote

"Lee Walls was my roommate with the Cubs . He was quite gregarious and for years during the off seasons worked as a greeter in Palm Springs. We'd always go to the fanciest restaurants and Lee would smoothly talk us inside without reservations." - Teammate Jim Bouton in Baseball Players of the 1950s: A Biographical Dictionary of All 1,560 Major Leaguers (Rich Marazzi, McFarland Publishing, 11/30/2009, LEE WALLS , Page 416)
