Christopher Brandon Young was a Major League Baseball player with the Arizona Diamondbacks (2006-2012), Oakland Athletics (2013), New York Mets (2014), New York Yankees (2014-2015), Boston Red Sox (2016-2017) and Los Angeles Angels (2010). When Chris, his nickname, hit 32 home runs and stole 27 bases in 2007, he became the first rookie in Major League Baseball history to record a 30-homer / 25-stolen base season !

Billy Hamilton was the first player in baseball history to hit a lead-off home run and walk-off home run during the same game, accomplishing the feat on May 17, 1893. The next National League player to join the " Lead-Off AND Walk Off Home Run in Same Game by Same Player Club " -- Chris Young, on August 7, 2010 , one-hundred seventeen years later!

Chris Young whacked 56 home runs and swiped 43 stolen bases across his first three big league seasons (2006-2008), the second most by a centerfielder in baseball history, behind a hall of fame player named Ken Griffey, Jr. (60 home runs, 50 stolen bases)!

Did you know that Chris Young was the first player in Diamondbacks history to achieve three 20-homer and 20-stolen base seasons (2007, 2010, 2011)? Too easy? Did you know that when he went deep twice in Game 4 of the 2011 National League Division Series game, he was the first D-backs player with a multi-homer postseason game?
