Major League Baseball Records for Most Home Runs in a Game

Home run records set by the teams during a game including most, most by both teams, most on Opening Day, and several other variations. Presented below in alphabetical order are home run records set by the teams during a game.

"This will be a game that people around here will remember for a long time." - Manager Grady Little; "People were in here celebrating like we won the World Series. It was the best game I've ever seen." - Starting Pitcher Brad Penny; "Thank God Grady put me in there. This is absolutely the most wonderful night of my career. I hit a fastball, but I don't know if it was up or down, in or out." - Marlon Anderson; "I've never seen anything like this in a 15-plus-year career. It was an incredible finish. But it's just one game in 162. It was a great game, but for me, I have to take this in stride." - Jeff Kent in the Dodgers Post Game Press Conference (09/18/2006 Tied NL Record [below] for Consecutive Home Runs in a Game)
