During the 1996 season Ozzie Guillen set the Major League record for fewest base on balls in a full season of play (at least one-hundred fifty games played) with ten.

Several players have received two bases on balls during the same inning; however, George Selkirk (1936), Eddie Stanky (1950) and Skeeter Webb (1940) are the only three players who had two bases in balls during an inning in two different games during the same season.

Did you know Hack Wilson of the 1926 Chicago Cubs led the league in base on balls with sixty-nine setting a new Major League record for fewest base on balls by the league leader?
