Baseball Almanac Top Quote

"That first hit (with the Triple-A Norfolk Tides) was like a 1,000-pound weight being lifted from my shoulders. I've never been this nervous and excited about one game. My goal was to just get a hit. I've had a couple 3-for-4 nights this season, but this tops them all." - David Wright on The Virginian-Pilot (Rich Radford, 06/15/2004)
